Delete your account and data

Path A — Delete in the app

1. Open Recipe Dost and select Settings.
2. Under Privacy & Data, select Delete account & data.
3. Select the Delete account & data button.
4. Review the confirmation and select Delete permanently. You can select Cancel before the request starts.
5. Keep the app open while the secure request finishes. On success, the app shows Account deleted and offers Start fresh.

The request is authenticated by the current app session. After a successful server deletion, the old anonymous session is cleared, the local recipe query cache and locally stored onboarding profile are cleared, PostHog identity is reset, Sentry user identity is cleared, and the app logs out of RevenueCat. The deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Path B — Submit an external request

Email isbatapps@gmail.com with the subject Recipe Dost account deletion request.

Include:

• your full Anonymous Account ID from Settings → Profile → Anonymous Account ID;
• a short statement that you want the Recipe Dost account and associated app data deleted; and
• any non-sensitive context support requests to verify that you control the anonymous account.

In Settings, press and hold the displayed Account ID to copy it. The ID is not a password or session credential, but it does not by itself authorize deletion. Support may require an additional in-app verification step. Never send an access token, refresh token, password, Supabase session, payment-card details, or Google Play credentials.

Processing time: Verified requests are normally processed within 30 days.

Data covered by account deletion

The production deletion function permanently deletes the Supabase anonymous auth account. Account-linked records are configured to delete with that user, including:

• profile, preferences, access, usage-limit, and app subscription-status records;
• saved recipe links, source metadata, favorites, and collections;
• generated recipe cards, ingredients, instructions, grocery information, and related processing records;
• grocery lists, item text, quantities or notes, completion state, and related recipe references;
• AI-content reports and their association with the anonymous account; and
• account-linked technical processing events and metadata.

Information that may remain independently

Deleting the Recipe Dost account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel or manage it through Google Play subscription help.

Google Play, RevenueCat, PostHog, Sentry, Render, Supabase, Google, or Cloudflare may retain store transactions, entitlement history, analytics, diagnostics, security logs, legal records, de-identified information, or backups under their own policies and legitimate obligations. The in-app deletion removes Recipe Dost’s live account-linked Supabase records; it does not promise immediate erasure from every independent provider system.
